Tip of the Week - October 26, 2015 - Don't be "Panicked" into Wiring Money

We all want to come to the rescue of our family members who are in need or in trouble and scammers pride themselves in knowing how to push our emotional and panic-stricken buttons.   They'll call with hard luck stories, or worse yet, with tales of your relative being kidnapped and demand ransom money.  These scammers sound like they know your relative because they've done their research on social media.  Assume anyone demanding that you wire money or send a prepaid card is lying.  Check out their story.
