California Statewide Law Enforcement Association Unit-A Vice President and California Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 77 Vice President Kenny Ehrman will emcee the event, in addition to educating attendees about identity theft.
"This is an opportunity for the folks in Davis and Yolo County to take a couple of hours, meet Assemblymember Bill Todd, meet others in their community and get the latest consumer protection advice," said Ehrman. "Those of us presenting this information fight fraud on a daily basis, and as scams keep changing, we need to get the word out to consumers. This is also a chance for those in attendance to talk to us one on one for any particular advice or help they may need. We have a lot of resources."
The town hall will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Davis Library at 315 E. 14th Street, Davis. RSVP: Office of Assemblymember Bill Dodd (800) 965-6765
